WEIGH-INS
(All TIMES are Eastern Standard Time)
*Wrestlers will need to weigh in ONLY ONCE for the entire weekend*—those who are participating in the Duals may use their certified weight from their team registration for the Open as well. For those athletes wrestling exclusively in the Open, we will offer the option of day-before weigh-ins on Saturday at the competition facility. Early weigh-ins from 4-5pm Saturday $10 CASH AT THE HEAD TABLE. Otherwise, wrestlers may weigh-in before the event Sunday, from 8-8:30 a.m. Normal weigh-in procedures apply; wrestlers must present themselves in competition singlet or doublet, no shoes or socks or other gear (besides any required medical gear), and submit to a skin check at the same time. The tournament has a .9 allowance for each weight class (ex., 100 lbs. may weigh 100.9 lbs. or less). All wrestlers may wrestle up one weight class, but have to pay entry fees for two weights because of the cost for awards for each weight class. Only high school-enrolled Cadets may wrestle in both the Cadet and Junior age divisions, but must PAY to enter the tournament in each age division and will not be allowed additional time between matches as a result.
